Hello Farm Friends,
How are you all? Hope this finds you well and happy. Hard to believe, but this is the last week of July! Things on the farm are winding down a little bit as Jim was able to bushhog most of our first garden last week leaving only the tomatoes and our later garden is telling us that we have only 2 more weeks of produce left. For those of you who might not have gotten our spring email about our summer plans I will repeat them again here this week. It has been our intention all summer to wrap up our summer season late July/first of August due to the recent arrival of our second little boy. This will give us time to regroup, get the farm and our lives in some sort of order and get ready for our winter CSA season. With our first child, we tried to do it all, all season long and just about went crazy…so this time around we are taking what we learned last time and applying it! August 4th will be our last Saturday at the market and August 2 will be our last on farm pickup night. So there are two more weeks of our regular scheduled events. Don't worry, we will stay in touch via our email newsletter to let you know what is going on around here and what to expect.
For the next two weeks we will have tomatoes available for canning. These are less than perfect tomatoes…but are totally ideal for canning, freezing or further processing. These tomatoes are 10.00 for a 20lb box. Please let us know in advance via email or phone how many boxes you want and if you want them for the 28th or August 4th.

Picture of the Week
It is going to be nice for our garden to be this size in the late summer. This year we have planted just a few beans and tomatoes to see us through until frost. To see this week's photo, please click on the following link. www.rockygladefarm.com/photos.php
Have a super week!
