Fall 2024 Harvest Season update!

I wanted to share a few pictures from our 2024 Winter Squash harvest. here we are putting Heart of Gold and Green acorn on the smaller shelves for curing before we wash the squash and move it into dry storage for winter.

Add 3 more MEGABINS of butternut to this picture and this is our "large" winter squash harvest. We consider "large" squash to be our butterkin, and butternuts of various sizes.

This year we had so much little squash (acorns, dumplings etc) that we ran out of shelf space and had to megabin some of these as well.

Orange Kabocha squash curing. Best year yet for our most popular winter squash!

I hope you have enjoyed a few pictures of winter vegetables coming in from the field this year. God's grace and provision is sufficient. Farming is never easy or predictable, so when we have a harvest like this we want to make sure and recognize we KNOW where the bounty came from and that is from our Lord God Jesus Christ. Not every year or every crop is like this, so we celebrate! God is good. We are humbled and just keep putting our heads down and working hard! Thanks for letting us feed your family this winter! I promise it's going to be YUMMY!

Hugs,

Julie
