Hot weather got you thinking about FALL?

What's that in the picture? It's a SEA of winter squash! Well, the squash is still in progress of course, but it's growing under that canopy of leaves, then it will cure out in our squash shed and finally be put away in storage to enjoy at least during Fall and the first part of Winter. We grow lots of varieties of butternut, kabocha, acorn, dumpling and more...Can't wait to update you with pictures of the finished product...

Love squash? you might enjoy our Fall and Winter CSA. We combine the best of freshly grown greens (lettuces, kale, chard, brassicas) and root veggies with storage crops like potatoes, garlic, shallots, sweet potatoes and yes...winter squash to feed you all Fall or all winter long if you prefer to do the FULL CSA. More information can be found on our Winter CSA information page

Let us know if you have any questions about Winter growing at Rocky Glade Farm!

Until Next time...

Hugs,

Julie
