Are you ready for warmer weather? Aren't we all?? After a preview week of spring-like weather, I'm writing this tucked back into my favorite sweatshirt and facing a week of definitely WINTER weather! I've farmed long enough to know that it takes time and patience to bring SPRING fully into play without winter poking it's nose into our warm weather business! Spring will happen as will SUMMER and that's what I want to mention to you today! Have you ever participated in a CSA? Do you know what it means? CSA stands for community supported agriculture and there are about as many meanings for it and interpretations as you can think of. For our farm, Summer CSA means that you are subscribed for a box of veggies each week for 11 weeks during the summer of 2022. We begin in May and finish up at the end of July. For us, we like to offer choices of what veggies you receive, so with each box you will be able to choose about half of your box contents. Pickups are on tuesday afternoons from 2-6 here at the farm.
